Signs of Spring

Tiny green buds on the lilac bushes....

Moss appearing on the bricks at the side of the pond.....

And I'm not sure what these little guys are called, but they're coming up all OVER the herb garden....

    I do love seeing moss spring up in my garden. It just doesn't stay long enough here in my part of the country.

    Carolee, I'm not sure but I think it is some kind of ranunculus (something in the buttercup family).

    Beautiful pictures! Those are called Winter Aconites. Their roots are extremely toxic if eaten.
