Flying in for just a few minutes with an update on John's situation, and many thanks to everyone who's sent prayers, good thoughts and positive energy our way. :)
This morning found us rising at 3:30 AM and leaving the house an hour later, to insure arrival at the hospital by 6:30. The cardiac cath went well, no surprises, etc - so surgery is a go on the fifth of November.
Until then, John is resting as much as possible, and I'm painting like mad, with several new pieces in the works, including a large canvas, some small boxes and a couple of large pieces too.
I'll be back with another update (and photos!) soon, but in the meantime, it's been a verrrrrry long day and it's time for me to collapse....
Until next time,
~ Carolee
I'll be praying for you both - as well as your entire family...it's good that you continue to work/paint to keep your mind focused and calm. By sure John stays relaxed - I'll pray for peace and comfort for him! Keep us updated...

I have a blog award waiting for you... go collect it xx
ReplyDeleteSending healing thoughts and energy to you both. Art calms the soul and revitalizes the heart so in a way, you're sending healing vibes. Strength and Smiles.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to both you and John. I'll be sending up prayers constantly through the surgery. I just read about the piracy on Ebay and I'm glad that they are taking care of their end of it, but I'm so sorry that you're going through this right now. There is never a good time, but nevertheless, we know that you don't need anything more stressful right now. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteSending warm, comforting thoughts & healing prayers for you both...with love.
ReplyDeleteSmiles, Debbie
